Bloglines and Newsfeeds

Sorry I have been so absent lately. I just haven't had time to play at work. However, today I finally had some time to explore bloglines. To be honest, this was probably one of the least interesting things we've done so far. I think it's because to me, it's a lot like my typical work... scanning the online universe for newsfeeds and articles about CML or the library industry. Heck, I put a Google newsfeed on my Blog the first week we began these 23 Things. On the upside, this "thing" allowed me to look for things like Rolling Stone articles and movies that are coming soon to theaters! I'm quite a movie buff. =) With regard to searching for RSS feeds, I preferred to search topics like "movies" and "art" at Bloglines and Topix.net and then explore suggestions made by various websites. Perhaps that makes me lazy. But the way I see it, I spend about 6 to 7 hours at work on my computer in a typical day. I don't want to spend too much "play" time staring at a computer screen. I'd rather go with quick information and check out a new best selling book or hit the town to go see those new movies. =) But that's just me.

If you would like to see the various RSS feeds I found to be interesting and decided to subcribe to, you can visit my blogline page at: http://www.bloglines.com/blog/MediaDiva.

MediaDiva,

FYI: If you use http://www.bloglines.com/public/MediaDiva, people will be able to subscribe to and configure your public feeds for themselves easier than when you publish your bloglines blog.
